Side Effects and Contraindications
The main side effect is an initial reaction, which may cause a temporary increase in pain. This typically affects patients with chronic conditions (around 15–20% of cases). However, this reaction can be largely avoided by adjusting the dosage and ensuring sufficient water intake.
Magnetic field therapy should not be used if electrical implants such as pacemakers are present. Relative contraindications include epilepsy, pregnancy, untreated hyperthyroidism, and high fever.
